This critical hire oversaw planning and implementation of corporate science and technology, while ensuring design research and development and activities (both non-clinical and clinical) were consistent with corporate technology goals. They provided corporate input into R&D project priorities, ensured implementation of key R&D strategy and decisions, and ensured that all R&D projects complied with Design Controls and where appropriate, GLP standards. They also supported the Chief Scientific Officer and Chief Executive Officer by being a technology spokesperson for the company, as well as served on the Design Review Board to make key R&D decisions.
