Milford, MA - Prestige Scientific is excited to announce a completed search for a Chief Medical Officer for our clinical-stage biopharmaceutical partner that is focused on the development of innovative therapeutics designed to significantly improve outcomes for patients with liver disease. The company’s lead clinical candidate is a peptide therapeutic with a mechanism of action designed to selectively target complications of portal hypertension.
This MD, Ph.D has over 20 years of industry experience(pharma and biotech) in R&D across a breadth of therapeutic categories, including liver disease, endocrinology, rare disease, autoimmune, gastrointestinal and infectious disease. They have a proven track record inleading high performing teams and delivering on complex programs, with deep experience in bringing products from first-in-human studies through to approval. Utilizing their in-depth expertise, this hire will oversee the clinical development efforts for our partner’s portfolio programs, as well as help set overall development strategy for the company.
