20 Oct How to know when it’s time to change careers
Did you know exactly what you wanted to be when you grew up?
If so, you’re among the lucky few. For most people, it’s a process. Professional life is about learning, and not just learning more skills. It’s also about learning about yourself.
You might realize it’s time to think about a new job or even a career switch when you lose interest in learning in your current role. Or you might realize it when you can’t sleep at night worrying that you’re missing out on fulfilling another passion.
Your gut will tell you when you are ready to make a change. And it’s easiest to listen to your gut when you remove the part of your mind telling you, “you really should stick this out.”
As a Managing Partner, I obviously work with a lot of people seeking out a new role. I’m always happy to chat about the best way to explore opportunities that are better aligned with your current dreams.
