14 Sep An important talent management trend: employee benefits that reflect the world today
Are you supporting your employees’ well-being?
You should be, if you want to be a competitive employer.
As SHRM reports in “5 Talent Management Trends and the HR Skills They Require,” employees today expect more than a simple health insurance benefit. They want benefits that support their mental and emotional well-being, as well.
They also appreciate when benefits are flexible. Especially with more and more people working at home, it’s key to offer your employees benefits that will work for their particular situation.
For instance, where you may have had an onsite gym or a deal with a local fitness outlet, perhaps you now subsidize online yoga and Pilates classes instead.
For all of the companies I work with as a Managing Partner, taking care of the workforce is a top priority right now. Thinking about how you can best support your employees’ physical, mental and emotional health is key to a happy, productive workforce.
